Welcome to the newly redesigned BabyBhoom! 

The same enthusiasm I had when I established the site in 2015 continues today in wanting to share my experience and knowledge as a women’s health specialist and mother. I redesigned this site to enable women of all ages to access information on health topics ranging from contraception, menstrual irregularities, fertility topics to pregnancy and menopause. 

This site does not replace your own doctor’s advice and expertise. It does not replace having your doctor examine you, review your history, and evaluate your test results. 

It is my hope that this site is an informative read on a topic you're curious about and are wondering: what would an ob/gyn say? Keep in mind, I'm also not pretending to be every ob/gyn out there. Medicine is an art as much as it is based on science. If you ask different doctors the same question, you might be surprised at the different answers you might get based on each doctor's own experiences and training. I am a board certified obstetrician gynecologist who has been in practice for over a decade. Countless patients over the years during their office visits have informed me they are appreciative of my approachable and thorough explanations to them about their female health concerns. I hope this site format gives visitors the same easy-to-understand information.  

Health organizations in all health fields have guidelines that are prone to changing as health information advances rapidly. My site content should not be mistaken as the latest information out there and it does not replace your doctor’s visit or your own doctor’s advice.  Again, only your own in-person office visit and exam by your doctor can give you the most up to date health information that’s tailored for you from your own doctor. 

Along the way I’ve sprinkled in some of my experiences and travels as a mom as well that I hope you’ll enjoy reading as much as I have enjoyed writing about them! You’ll find my kiddos’ favorite toys and books on here as well, all kid-tested and approved. Of course, every mom will have their own awesome experiences that are different from my own. Please feel free to share in comments, I would love to share our experiences with each other.
